Natalie Caudill grew up in Kentucky and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism at the University of Kentucky in 1989. Two days after graduation, she accepted a staff position at the Dallas Morning News where she has shot fashion, food, interiors, portraits and news. Her speciality is lighting but her true love is wildlife photography and chronicling the native species of Texas. Her work has appeared in magazines such as Esquire, Woman's World, Newsweek, and People and has illustrated several cookbooks. Her photographs have earned recognition from the National Press Photographers Association as well as two Press Club of Dallas awards for her illustrations. She lives in Richardson, Texas with her fiance, eleven-year-old daughter and three dog children.
